Our friend, Toni, is undergoing breast cancer treatment at the Dana Farber Institute in Boston. She is in need of a vehicle to safely get her back and forth for her treatments. Her current vehicle has more than 250,000 miles and is not up to the task.

http://positiveforbreastcancer.blogspot.com

On March 29, 2010, our friend Toni was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Toni has fought this particular form of breast cancer aggressively with surgeries, radiation, chemotherapy and prayer....yet the cancer fights back just as aggressively.

This winter, Toni went to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston to seek help.  She qualified for a clinical trial, which requires her to make the 6-hour round trip to Boston every week...in a dear old car with 250,000 miles on it.

Toni is loved by her family.  She is loved by her church.  She is loved by her colleagues at Shaker Jr. High where she teaches English.  She is loved by her friends from college and high school.  She is particularly loved by her husband of 15 years and 8 year old son.

We want Toni to be safe on her drives.  We want Toni to have reliable transportation for her weekly sojourn, and most of all, we want Toni to drive enveloped and surrounded by the love of her friends and family as she makes the drive to Boston each week.

Our prayer is that in the next 60 days we can all come together and embrace her in the form of a car, and that everything from the steering wheel in her hands to the roof over her head would remind her how much she is loved by so many.

For Toni!
