A long time ago (back in September), I wanted to create a detective novel that was based a bit (major, in other words) around automobiles and a hint of slice and life (Detective Conan), though I found out it wasn't going to be easy, yet I want to do it.

So you may have heard of mystery novels - the ones that revolve around the Victorian era with Sherlock Holmes. Then you have a set of novels that are relegated to the western crime files of 2010.

 

There wasn't one that also had a mix of automobiles (maybe a tad essence of action-racing genres like Fast Five) and a slice of life (once again, in terms of Detective Conan), so I wanted to start up my own novel under the codename Project Arcadia. There wasn't a title nor a permanent release date (I just want everything to go smoothly with one another), heck, I didn't even have the funds to get it published.

There was one thing that the novel has, was a hero's car. I haven't said anything about it yet, but I also needed a baddie's car to go along. Think in terms of Ernest Stavro Blofeld (and Gin.)

 

For that, both vehicles needed to have a few things in common; sporting credentials and nothing else. Ok, I lied. Sporting credentials and a bit of a technological gimmick that defines its character and the driver. That, and it's also interesting to own a tidbit of a character's closest possession in the real world. Whatever funds I have left would ensure that the novel will be released (How much does it cost to sell a bunch of novels anyway?)
