The Dart would be perfect to put miles on for job interviews, to run errands, and to visit family rather than guzzle fuel on the car that I want to hand down someday to my children (my Trans Am?). Why not have something reliable?

Ok, while it may seem self serving I am humbling asking those that come across this profile to at least stop and think. The Dart was designed as a point A to B to C car. My current car, a Pontiac Trans Am was designed as a road going beast.

One that unfortunately sucks my funds dry regularly to purchase a backup vehicle.

As such, a little putter mobile with some attitude like the Dart would be a welcome addition to the stable and one that would make me forever grateful to my friends in the Camaro community, my family, and humanity in general (I kid..) Seriously though, with my current job I can barely top my student loan payments and keep up with the needs of my Trans Am. While it would be sensible to part with the Trans Am I cannot due to the time and money investment beyond my control. Bad planning? Maybe. Do I want to hand the car down to my children and promote responsible driving and life choices? It would be a darn good example of what not to do as a foolish young adult. That said if anyone would be willing to donate to the cause of saving that car for future generations then by all means do what you feel is right (by donating or not).

I'm placing faith in the fact that I've gained many good friends and have a close family and a loving girlfriend who would kick me in the pants if I didn't try this (we had a discussion the day before about the T/A ironically!)

Again I digres.. and I'll close with anyone who wants to learn stick and catches me with this car.. you get a free pass. And hoonage time in the drivers seat because what better way to have a gift than to share it with those who helped you get there? Yes, the T/A is available for hoonage as well. ;)
